Join WCYY and Tri-Maine in kicking off the 2009 Urban Epic event season with The EpicMan! Witness the INSANE journey of two of New England's own as they kayak, bike, and run 163 miles from Peaks Island to the finish line of the Boston Marathon...in 24 hours. The EpicMen will be stopping at parties along the way to celebrate their Epic journey with the community and refuel, and you can be part of the madness:

Party 1 of 3: Get to RiRa in Portland at 3pm on Sunday April 19th and welcome The EpicMen into port with the WCYY Street Team. Great tunes, the opportunity to win Boston baseball tix and bar tabs, and of course Guinness specials will get the party going.

Party 2 of 3: Head south to Portsmouth Brewery at 7pm on Sunday April 19th. Guess the EpicMan arrival time as they pedal from Portland and Boston baseball tix as well as some Smuttynose Brews.

Party 3 of 3: Will and Seth don't stop at the Finish Line. They keep right on running to the after party at The Rattlesnake Bar and Grill on Boyleston in Boston. The community will be there at 1pm on April 20th to toast to The EpicMan arrival and completion of one insane journey that brought together three cities in 24 hours.
